Ranbir Kapoor:
I known Sonam since childhood, we have gone for film shootings together. I don’t recall family holidays but shoots were like family holidays for us. So, working with Sonam is like working with someone from my family. I love her to death and I think she is a wonderful co-star. She is an amazing actress and her dedication matches her father’s passion for acting, which everyone is aware of. So, I feel blessed that I had Mr Bhansali and Sonam to begin with. Everything was so perfect.

She knew everybody in the team by name and is extremely friendly.

She’s a wonderful girl, all full of life, and exuberant, she’s always smiling and I admire that about her, it is wonderful to see that kind of confidence she has, because this is her second film and she was put in front of the camera with the likes of Om Puri and Rishi Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman. And these are stall worths and I think the best in the business would be scared to stand in front of and to hold your honour in front of them takes a lot of guts and a great amount of confidence and talent, and she’s really come off wonderful in the film and she’s a wonderful wonderful talent.

Cyrus Sahukar:
She takes care of everyone and smuggles in good food. She is a very patient and talented person. I drove her bonkers asking her strange questions about bizarre things. We were staying in a beautiful complex where everyone had their own bungalow so it was like a village in itself- everyone knew everyone. Sonam was the centre of attention all the time.

Bhagyashree:
I absolutely love her in the Masakali song in Delhi 6 and I really think, with no offence meant to other heroines, that Sonam has brought in a certain freshness, an innocence, an Indianness into Hindi films. She is exceptionally pretty.
