Every star deserves a break. Sonam Kapoor, who has been shooting around the clock for Aditya Chopra's next production opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, recently took a break from her hectic schedule.
A source from the sets says, "The shooting has been going on for some time and finally Sonam managed to get a day off. She took off for a Sufi concert."

Sonam Kapoor has bought the rights of one of Anuja Chauhan's books to make a movie based on it.
At a recent event in Delhi, Sonam said that since she couldn't afford to buy the rights, she asked her father Anil Kapoor to do so, but refused to say if she was talking about The Zoya Factor or Battles For Bittora. Sonam said, "I was offered both those characters but nothing came of it and I was getting very irritated so I became shameless and asked my dad to pay for it. It is imperative for me to play today's Indian girl. It's very difficult to find characters like these in the film industry, to find women with shades, but Anuja writes them and I want to play them before I get too old for them."

Bangalore does not know Bollywood stars and Sonam Kapoor faced this bitter truth in the first person last night at BIA. The actress was caught embarrassed outside Gate 2 (Departures) where she was held for more than half an hour by security personnel for the lack of proper identification.
Sonam was accompanied by a female friend, assumed to be her manager, who tried fending off the occasional enquiries about the star’s identity.
