Sonam Kapoor to work in a Kannada film?

According to sources Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has been approached by Kannada director Mahesh Sukadhare to play the female lead in his next film.
It is also believed that the actress has expressed her interest in the script, but is yet to sign on dotted lines. If all goes well Sonam will be seen opposite Darshan who plays the male lead in the movie.
