A section of the media (not DC) reported recently that the big combo film of hot star Suriya and commercial filmmaker Hari has been dropped!

Hari, who was shocked by the news, denied it and spilled the beans on the project.

Apparently, it is very much on and will go on floors after Suriya completes Maatran.

Speaking to DC he said, “I don’t know where these rumours come from! Suriya and I have been working on an experimental theme and the untitled flick will be a new experience for the Tamil audience. That’s the reason we kept it a suspense and wanted to announce it properly on an auspicious day after Pongal."

Quizzed on whether it’s a sequel to their earlier hit Singham the director did not divulge much info. But he was quick to add that Suriya will have two different looks in the movie.

“It will be a high action commercial drama and Suriya will romance two heroines. Both the actresses will have equal footage. One of them will be Anushka and though we have not brought her onboard officially, I am confident that she will adjust her dates for the film. Talks are on with Sonam Kapoor and Ileana for the other heroine’s role.”

It may be recalled that Sonam Kapoor was approached for Mani Ratnam’s Pookadai and the B’town babe gave an audition for it as well.
