Right from the start Sonam Kapoor has had everything going for her as far as looks and lineage are concerned. Over time she has even improved upon her acting abilities and is considered more than a glam doll after a stellar performance in Mausam. But despite a fair share of highs and lows, the actress is yet to learn a few things. And this is not coming from her detractors, but Sonam herself.
She says, “My family has been asking me to be more diplomatic in my approach — honestly, I keep trying all the time but I am yet to learn to play with words.” But while most people think that Sonam is a sad case of foot-in-mouth syndrome, her doting father Anil Kapoor wants his girl to remain the way she is. “I think my father knows me too well. Dad is sure that I can never be the word-mincing type. So, now if you ask me, I have quit trying to be politically correct,” she continues.
And if she goofs up again, she can always run back to daddy. Some people have all the luck, don’t they?
