Though sister and filmmaker Rhea Kapoor won’t be holding her hand on the red carpet, she is getting “quite a few” dresses ready for her sister to make the right red carpet noises.

“She (Rhea) understands my sense of style and am extremely confident about my sister’s sense of styling. In fact, I am not so much confident about myself as I am confident about her,” gushes sister Sonam.

The only problem with Sonam, admits Rhea, is that Sonam will not have much time to absorb the Cannes experience. “She’ll have to decide her dress as soon as she reaches there. We haven’t exactly decided what she is going to wear on that day, but it will be one among the few that we have put together for her,” says Rhea, who’s also a filmmaker.

Sources say that the sisters will have to choose from among five dresses selected for the occasion. “All the dresses that we have put together will make her look like a Goddess, they will not be prudish evening ball gowns. Sonam also has her own plans when it comes to the accessories,” she adds. Though Rhea will be travelling with Sonam, she won’t be on the red carpet with her. “I am too conscious of the flashbulbs. Sonam is a confident girl and she’ll be able to walk there on her own,” she says.

So, with Ash coming back before Sonam reaches, who are they looking forward to meet there? “We look forward to meeting Freida there. She’s been a friend of ours for a long time now,” says Rhea.
