The Times Food and Nightlife Guide Awards 2011 celebrated the best in the culinary world

This was a night of the bests – the best chefs, the best food that one can have a bite of in Delhi and the NCR, the best bakers, bartenders, restaurateurs, nightclub owners... and they had all congregated at the Maurya Sheraton on Saturday evening for... That's right , the Times Food and Nightlife Guide Awards 2011 – the Food Oscars that celebrates the best in culinary world once again felicitated those who had displayed their expertise in this field.

Needless to say, the crème de la crème of the city were invited to be part of the Awards night, and we saw them all come to be part of this gastronomical evening. The winners were chosen in 48 categories. "Aisha" actress Sonam Kapoor gave away the awards much to the delight of the winners and everyone present. She also released the three books – the Times Food Guide, the Times Nightlife Guide and for the first time, along with the food guide, a little white book that holds all the information about the chocolatiers and caterers in the city.
