Actor Anil Kapoor and Sonam visited Pune for the promotion of Aisha, as guests for the finale of a dance contest. It turned to be fatherdaughter divulgence about each other.

WHAT KIND OF A DANCER ARE YOU?
“I have never been able to dance and seeing the little ones dance so well, I often feel that one should enhance their skills in other fields apart from studies.”
Daddy divulges, “I felt that she could be a dancer since she was a kid, during occasions when everyone would leave the stage and the party hall would be empty, she would keep dancing oblivious to the world. That’s when I thought she would become an actress.”

“That is something I have never been able to decipher, it is absolutely my brother’s forte. He keeps a track of all this. He came keyed up to my room saying, ‘Didi, the box office report is astounding. I’m so happy the movie is going to make it big.’

“Only boys haven’t liked it. girls seem to be exhilarated about it.”

“I feel as an actor, do your best and the results will come on their own.”
Unlike other star parents, he did not launch her but gave her time to groom herself. “It’s actually like Sonam has launched me and Riya rather than we launching her. She was the main attraction as we started planning Aisha. She has done everything on her own totally and I am proud of this.”

Everyone goes through that stage of match making. I, being a Punjabi girl, have also had my taste of this and still do. Once you enter college, one experiences this. As a girl, all of us have done a bit of match-making during High School like, “This guy is the best for you etc.” (Laugh).
