It was a morning peppered with love and laughter on Radio Mirchi as heart-throbs Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor were live on the morning show ‘Hi Mumbai’. The onscreen couple chatted with RJ Jeeturaaj about their latest film, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.

The beautiful Sonam was in for a surprise when RJ Jeeturaaj played the popular song ‘Masakali’ especially for her, thereby delighting her. Winning over RJ Jeeturaaj with his impeccable charm, Imran revealed, ‘I love radio shows as they are plenty of fun! In fact I think my film promotion is not complete until I have come on your show, Hi Mumbai’.

Mirchi listeners were amused when Imran and Sonam revealed how they used to pull each other’s leg during the shoot. With a mischievous twinkle, Imran said, “Sonam was not allowed to wear high heels during the shooting. She was only wearing flats throughout the movie.” The slender and graceful Sonam said, “Imran would always stand beside me and hum ‘Khambe jaisi khadi hain’.

The two stars spoke to RJ Jeeturaaj about the music and the unique title of the film. Imran said, “I Hate Luv Storys is a very different yet perfect title for this film. My favorite song from the film is Bin Tere”. Composed by Vishal and Shekhar, the soundtrack is already topping the charts.

Not only did Mirchi listeners get to experience the great camaraderie between Imran and Sonam, but they also shared their own love stories on air. Mirchi had launched a unique contest where listeners were asked to SMS their love stories, not just any love story, but a short love story and that too in just 140 characters. It was an exciting moment for the 5 lucky Mirchi winners as they got a chance to meet the lead pair of the film.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ captures the love and hate relationship between the cynical Jay and the romantic Simran and brings out many endearing moments between the two.
