Prateik Babbar, Imran Khan and Ranbir will be the next SRK, Aamir & Salman said Sonam Kapoor, while on a whirlwind visit to the capital.

Everyone in the room, your stylist to the photographer, is smiling. Your charm’s definitely infectious.

(Breaks into laughter) I’d like to believe that, and want it to remain that way. People should be happy.

You’ve been coming to Delhi quite frequently. All work or some fun as well?

Of late, it has been more for work. But Delhi is my favourite city, I just love the place. Whatever opportunity I get, I run to Delhi. Also, since my dad’s side of family is in Delhi and my best friend is also in Delhi, I do make frequent trips to the city. And being a complete panju, I love Delhi’s food, the weather, wide roads, and just about everything. Though people keep saying that Delhi is like this or like that, the crowd is unruly or things are mismanaged, but frankly speaking, I’ve never experienced anything like that in Delhi. My visits to the city have always a pleasure.

Is that the reason why your movies are shot in Delhi? There was Delhi 6, and now there’s Aisha.

There could have been no other place than Delhi to feature a story like Aisha. Delhi is the only city which has the kind of culture that is seen in Jane Austen’s novels. Like the big weddings and lavish set-ups and all. So, for Aisha, Delhi suited the bill perfectly. Also, I was very kicked about it being shot here.

Tell us more about Aisha.

Aisha is inspired from Jane Austen’s novel, Emma. Though we have followed the book, there are certain variations in our story. My sister, Rhea, is producing that film. I had a blast working with my sister; she is amazing and very intelligent.

Does she have acting ambitions too?

No, not at all. She doesn’t aspire to be an actress, she is happy being behind the camera.

And your brother, Harshvardhan?

Arrey, he is a bachcha right now. Let him grow up. He is just 19, and he’s studying. Though I’m sure, if he decides to act, he will make for an amazing actor.

Aisha is being touted as India’s most fashionable movie yet ...

Well, it is a chick-flick. And what do girls love the most? Clothes, shoes, jewellery, makeup. So, we have paid attention to all that.

What after Aisha?

After that I have I Hate Luv Stories and Thank You. I Hate Luv Stories is a romantic comedy, and I star opposite Imran Khan. It’s being directed by a first timer, Puneet Malhotra, and it is a very funny, romantic movie. Thank You, on the other hand, is a full on Anees Bazmi film. It stars Akshay Kumar and I’m super excited about it, he’s a great looking guy.

Amongst all the youngsters that have debuted in Bollywood recently, who do you see most potential in?

I think everybody has potential in a different area. But the three more promising ones I would say are Prateik Babbar, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. I think they will be the next Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman Khan of the industry.
