She may be new to films, but she’s old hat at the business of fashion! Sonam on her personal style…

Cosmo: We’ve seen you in the Saawariya look. What’s your personal style?
S: Anything I’d be comfortable in. But I love fashion. You could say I’m obsessed with fashion. I love vintage stuff basically; so I go to a lot of vintage stores, especially when I travel. And there’s a boho side to me as well.

Cosmo: Your favourite brand is…
S: I’d have to say Chanel! I like Jean Paul Gaultier and Dior a lot, too.

Cosmo: Hmm… shopaholic alert! So what do you splurge the most moolah on?
S: Most of my money goes on shoes, bags and make up. I think I have five drawers full of bags and shoes each. And I still can’t stop shopping!

Cosmo: So who’s a style inspiration?
S: I like Sienna Miller’s style a lot. Then I think Nicole Kidman is very classy. I like the way my sister dresses too. She is incredible. I like Shobha De, especially her saris. She dresses very beautifully. I can’t think of too many names in India. And Charlize Theron is always impeccably dressed.
